Swansea University welcomes the new guidance from Welsh Government (30 June 2021), which will enable us to continue to provide some face-to-face teaching from September while still putting the safety of staff, students and the wider community at the centre of all we do.
New and returning students will be encouraged to test before they come to university, and regularly for the first 28 days after they arrive. Anyone aged 18 and over who has not been vaccinated will be able to book their vaccine straight away.
We are working through the detail of the guidance and will be giving more details of teaching and learning arrangements when we are able. We will also be working with the Students’ Union to provide a fun, safe arrivals programme to allow new students to get to know each other.
Our aim as ever is to provide a first-class student experience for all and we are looking forward to welcoming both new and returning students to our beautiful campuses with all Swansea and the surrounding area has to offer.

Can I study online only?
We will confirm later in the year if some courses can be studied completely online.
