How do I apply for a course? Is there an application deadline?

You can apply for one of our January entry courses online. We recommend applying as soon as possible to ensure a place on your chosen course and to allow plenty of time to complete any necessary requirements before you join us.

What happens after I've applied for a course?

How much are my course fees?

Fees vary between courses and whether you're a UK or EU/international student. The fee amount you'll pay is stated on individual course pages. 

Is there any funding available?

Please visit our scholarships and bursaries page. You may also be eligible to apply for government funding to help towards the cost of your postgraduate studies.

Is there accommodation available?

Yes, there is accommodation available for students starting courses in January 2023. Visit our accommodation pages to view the types of accommodation available at Swansea University. 

How do I apply for University accommodation?

You can apply for University accommodation as soon as you've received your unique student number. For full details of how to apply, visit our accommodation pages. 

When should I apply for accommodation?

We recommend applying for accommodation as soon as possible.

When will I start my course?

For all courses starting in January 2023, your enrolment, welcome and induction activities will be determined shortly.

Your enrolment and teaching timetable will be emailed to you a few weeks before your course is due to start. 

How do I enrol onto my course?

We'll send you full enrolment instructions via email a few weeks before your course is due to start. 

Will there be a Freshers' week?

Yes, there will! We will be running lots of events, either virtually or physically, where you can meet friends, as well as join clubs and societies. We hope to be able to continue to operate our outdoor social spaces on both campuses.

Can I study part-time?

Some of our courses starting in January 2023 can be studied part-time - visit individual course pages for more details. International students are not currently able to study part-time.
